My partner Vickie and I are trying hard to make sure we are living an increasingly sustainable life. Riverland Farm is an integral part of our quest.

It is such a joy to participate in the bounty of the farm that Rob, Meghan and others have worked to hard to provide. And we can ride our bicycles to pick up our share each week! (Although balancing pumpkins and squash on my bike in October truly tests my cycling skills.) How much more satisfying this is than getting vegetables from distant locations; produce that is sadly more well-travelled than I am. I prefer to save the oil and pollution and enjoy Riverland Farms veggies guilt-free.

I would recommend getting a Riverland Farm share to anyone that enjoys eating fresh, healthful vegetables with a minimal impact on our environment. And the sense of community as we get our "U-pick" vegetables is truly heart-warming. We are grateful for Riverland Farm helping us restore our connection to the earth and all it has to offer.
