Celeriac is the ugly duckling of the vegetable world. You may have guessed that it is in the same family as celery. This is a long season crop that spends a lot of time in the ground before we harvest it hence the mass of roots. It cooks like a potato and tastes reminiscient of celery. This crop stores through the winter beautifully.
