Share Members

Share Memberships come in two sizes: A FULL SHARE is generally sized for a household of 2 to 4 adults while a HALF SHARE is sized for a household of 1 to 2 adults.

Share Members pay for their season’s share of vegetables at the start of the season and then come to the farm each week on a share day starting in late May or early June and ending in late October. Share Days are Thursdays from 3 to 7 or Saturdays from 11 to 3 . Share members may change which day they pick up their share from week to week but only may pick up a share once a week.

Share Members pick-up their share of vegetables in the Share Room with a large whiteboard on the wall listing the vegetables and quantities in the share that week. The farm crew harvests almost all vegetables for our members. The exceptions are the more labour intensive U-Pick crops like peas, beans, and strawberries (to name only a few) which members can pick for themselves. The U-Pick Board outlines what crops and quantities are available for u-pick each week and the U-Pick Map shows members where the crops are. Share members can come any time Monday-Sunday between 8-5 to do their U-Pick.

Briefly, Share members:

• Buy a share before the start of season.
• Eat with the seasons. Get enough organic vegetables for a household of 2 to 4 adults (full share) or 1 to 2 adults (half share). Please see Harvest Plan for crop details.
• Pick up their share weekly at the farm either Thursdays from 3 to 7 or Saturdays from 11 to 3 .
• Get U-Pick privileges for a share of U-Pick Crops.
• Start pick-ups in June and end late October.

$50 deposit due now with sign up

First installment January 15th $150

Remainder of balance due May 15th

A sliding scale will be offered for the payment of your share. The suggested fee is in black . We offer the sliding scale to make the share more affordable to those that may not otherwise be able to afford it. We ask that if you can pay one of the higher priced tiers please do so to cover the costs for the lower income members. The shares are still an incredible deal even at the high end of the scale.
